October Ulta Beauty Haul: First Impressions!

Happy Fall everyone! I hope you are all enjoying this weather as much as I am as it’s my favorite season. As Ulta just finished their 21 days of beauty, with multiple amazing beauty products on sale, they have just started their 21 days of hair care and it’s amazing. I was able to get some great products 50% off, which made my purchase totally worth it.

SEBASTIAN Light Shampoo – $9, originally $16) & Light Conditioner ($9, originally $17

I’ve been wanting to try Sebastian hair products for so long, but they’re so pricy.

DERMA E Microdermabrasion Scrub with Dead Sea Salt – $18, originally $30

So far, I have used this twice and I LOVE it! It smells good and leaves my skin feeling really soft and clean. It’s beneficially to use a scrub for your face a few times a week because it exfoliates and cleans deep.

ORLANDO PITA PLAY Big Revival Bodifying Hair Mask – $16, originally $32

This is a brand I had never heard of until it was featured on Ulta’s sales section. All of this brands products have good reviews, nearly 5 stars, which is a good first impression. It’s difficult to find a hair mask that doesn’t weigh your hair down because it’s so heavy. My hair gets oily quickly and definitely needs volume, so using masks can be difficult for me (even though it’s much needed!!!).  So far, I’ve used this mask once and it didn’t

ORLANDO PITA PLAY Humidity Block Hairspray – 2.0 oz. FREE!

I do love how big of a sample this product is! I can definitely get a lot of use out of it, and the packaging is really nice and simple. Actually, all of Orlando Pita Play’s packaging is nice and simple and I like it! I am waiting to try this hairspray on a day when it’s hot and humid to really test it out!

WELLA Light Luminous Reflective Oil – 1.0 oz. FREE! originally $20

This stuff has a really nice smell to it and I’ve enjoyed it thus far! I’ve never used this brand before, but I figured I’d give it a shot as the name of the product was intriguing. If you have fine hair and are prone to oily hair if it’s not washed every day, then you know my struggle with using a lot of products that weigh my hair down. The fact that this oil is “light” and “luminous”, I was so excited to get it as a sample in my purchase! It really is a light oil and adds shine to my hair while making it soft, I LOVE IT! It’s the perfect product for someone who has hair like mine. I will continue to use and even maybe purchase in the future.

NYX Dew Me Up Serum & Primer – 0.78 oz. $11 originally $17

Right now all of NYX products are buy one get one 50% off and there is also a coupon floating around for $5 off $15 non-prestige items! If you’ve read my favorite NYX products post, you know this is my favorite drugstore primer. It just really does the job of creating a nice canvas to apply foundation.

NYX Dewy Finish Makeup Setting Spray – 2.02 oz. $4 originally $8

This is another product I mentioned on my favorite NYX products post, and it does the job of creating a dewy finish and holding my makeup in place. It’s not my favorite setting spray of all time, but for the price and amount of product you get, it’s worth it!

If you’ve gotten this far, thanks for reading my post! Drop me a comment if you’ve ever tried any of these products or have any suggestions for me to try. Be sure to check out Ulta’s website everyday as they are having new sales of really great hair products!
