Hello everyone, wanted to do a quick update (yeah right) on my most recent Ulta haul and first impressions! Ulta was having a x5 point special going on, so I had to take advantage of it. I finally redeemed my 2,000 points, which means I got $125 off my order 😮 If you aren’t an Ulta member, I highly suggest becoming one and taking advantage of their point system as I’ve gotten so many things at a discounted price and even for free! It really is worth it, and I love prefer Ulta’s point system way more than Sephora’s.
Philosophy Miracle Worker Foundation SPF 30 in Medium/Tan $40
I’ve been wanting to try this foundation for a while now and was super excited to buy it. Unfortunately, I still haven’t even tried it since I bought it lol, but will write a review once I have!
Too Faced Born This Way Absolute Perfection Foundation in Warm Beige $23
I was able to get this foundation 40% ($23) at Ulta as there was a one day sale going on. I have yet to apply a full face of this foundation, so I don’t want to write an unfair first impression. I will say the packaging is great and the bottle is heavy which is nice. The color matches my skin tone and there is a wide variety of colors to choose from. I will write a fair review once I’ve worn it enough.
Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation in Buff Beige $8
I’ve tried this foundation a number of times and it’s great. I love this for an every day foundation because it isn’t pricy at all and is very light. It looks natural while giving medium coverage and is easy to blend.
Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation in Sun Beige $8
I have yet to try this foundation, but have high hopes considering the matte version is good.
Exuviance Skin Caring Foundation SPF 20 in Golden Beige $19
I had never heard of this brand and it was 50% off so I figured I would give it a try. It’s another great every day foundation as it’s easy to blend and offers sheer coverage. It feels really light on the skin and has good pigmentation, plus it has SPF 20!
Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation in Warm Beige $11
I have yet to try this product so I can’t write a first impression on it, but it has good reviews so I’m excited to try it.
Highlight & Bronzer Products
Japonesque Color Liquid Light in 02 $14
This reminds me of the Color FX enhancer drops, except a much bigger bottle and cheaper. I’ve used this as a highlight and even a little in my foundation for added radiance. This product is usually $28 but I was able to get it on sale.
Laura Geller Limited Edition Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator – Diamond Dust $13
Just like the Too Faced foundation, for just one day, this highlighter was on sale at Ulta for $13. I’ve only used it twice, and my first impression is that it is blinding but does have quite a lot of fall out.
Wet N’ Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Blossom Glow $5
I’ve heard a lot of great things about Wet N Wild’s highlighters so I was excited to try this! It’s super pigmented and very comparable to a high end highlighter.
Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder $5
I really like this brand for a lot of their products, but I was afraid to try this as some bronzers have a tendency to turn orange. Luckily, that is not the case with this bronzer and it’s great quality, especially for the price. The compact is large, which is great as it comes with a lot of product.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina, Baci, and Aria $13
This was another great deal Ulta had going on; these liquid lips were half off and totally worth it. This is my favorite liquid lipstick formula, it lasts all day, is extremely pigmented, and does not dry out the lips at all. When I saw these were on sale, I just had to buy more!
Essence Lip Liner in Satin Mauve $1
Considering the price, it’s pigmented and easy to apply, I wish I would have bought more. It does come off easily, which is a major downfall.
Fizz & Bubble Pineapple Coconut Lip Scrub $4
I usually make my own lip scrub but this sounded so delicious and it was also on sale. I will say, it smells great. It also does a good job of getting rid of dead skin and leaving my lips soft.
E.L.F Selfie Foundation Blurring Brush $6
I usually use a beauty blender to apply my foundation but really wanted to try it with a brush. I still prefer my beauty blender versus a brush, but will use this when I need to.
E.L.F Contouring Brush $6
I LOVE this brush! I’m really loving e.l.f’s brushes lately and they are so affordable.
I bought a lot of skincare products because most of the brands were buy one get one 50%. I plan to use each brand together instead of mixing them all. I will definitely post reviews after using them long term.
SkinFood FreshMade Lemon Mask $13
I was looking for a brightening mask and most masks with a good amount of vitamin C were over $50. I’m glad I found SkinFood’s brand because it’s an affordable price and works well. I also love that is a gel consistency, it’s easy to apply and remove.
SkinFood Peach Sake Emulsion $15
This is a really great moisturizer to use, especially before bed as it is not oily and dissolves into the skin quickly. It also left my skin feeling super moisturized.
SkinFood Peach Sake Pore Serum $16
SkinFood Egg White Pore Mask $10.50
SkinFood Rice Brightening Scrub Foam $14
Derma E Vitamin C Concentrated Serum $10
Derma E Vitamin C Intense Night Cream $20
SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen Grow & Restore Shampoo $13
SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen Grow & Restore Rinse Out Conditioner $6
I have high hopes for both of these products as I love the brand and both products have really great ingredients. I am a little afraid the conditioner will make my hair greasy as it has Shea butter, but we will see.
Got 2B Powder’ful Volumizing Styling Powder $3
Hot Tools 2 inch 24K Gold Curling Iron $47
Another great sale, I was able to get this curling iron 20% off (the deal is over). I’d been wanting a 2 inch curling iron for a long time and really like this brand, so I’m excited to finally stop being lazy and do my hair some day. lol
