I wanted to update you guys on my new favorite drug store products! I’ve been finding some really great affordable products lately and am loving it. Some brands that have been selling great products that I love are Essence, NYX and E.L.F. I usually shop at Ulta, Target, or Walmart for my drug store makeup. Not all are NEW products that just came out, I’ve just been using them for a long time.
As any make-up addict knows, brushes can be extremely expensive; ranging $20 to $40 for just one brush. It’s always hard to find a good brush, I’m always excited when I find good brushes that do the job and are affordable. Although my favorite high end brand for make-up brushes is IT Cosmetics, I will admit E.L.F brushes are great and affordable.
E.L.F Cosmetics Brushes $1-$6
I love E.L.F brushes, they really hold pigment well and are soft. My favorite brushes are the kabuki face brush and contour brush, but I have all but the foundation brush (I prefer the beauty blender). These brushes range from just $1-$6 each, which isn’t bad at all.
No7 Lift & Luminate Foundation $15
I like this foundation because it has a great finish, is easy to blend, and stays on all day. It’s also great that it’s affordable with SPF 15.
Loreal True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Foundation $8
This foundation is medium coverage which can easily build to be full coverage. It adds a natural and luminous finish without looking oily, which is nice in the Summer. It’s also easy to blend, is very light in consistency, and has a variety of colors.
Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation $11
This is only sold online at Ulta.com! I love this foundation as the consistency is very light with medium coverage and still looks very natural. It’s also very mattifying, which is good for people with oily skin (mine is not dry or oily but still like it). I usually prefer a dewy finish, but do like this foundation. It is easy to blend and stays on all day without getting patchy. The one downfall is there are only four shades.
E.L.F Contour Palette $6
I have yet to use another powder contour palette since buying this. I am loving E.L.F products lately and this contour palette is SO affordable compared to most brands. It’s very easy to blend and the colors are great.
Wet N’ Wild MegaGlo Makeup Stick $4
This is also another great contour product as it is in stick form and easy to use. It’s very easy to blend with the E.L.F contour brush. There’s also a selection of cream stick highlighters which I have not tried yet.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer $10
I love this formula because it’s a creamy soft consistency and is easy to blend. The bronzer does not have any orange or red pigment when on the skin and just gives a really nice bronzed glow.
Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder $5
I was nervous to try this bronzer because I didn’t know if it would have any orange pigment in it. Luckily, it did not, and the color I picked (02) is an amazing bronze shade. This is a great mattifying bronzer if you do not like glowy skin. It’s also easy to blend and is long lasting.
Essence Satin Touch Blush $3
I’m really sad this blush only comes in two colors because the formula is amazing with such an affordable price. It’s super pigmented and offers a soft and smooth consistency that is easy to blend.
Wet N’ Wild MegaGlo Highlighter $5
What a beautiful highlight this is! So many people were raving about this highlighter, so I thought I’d give it a try. I wasn’t too hopeful for it as I know it’s hard to find a good highlighter. Needless to say, I’ve been using it every day and it looks amazing. The pigmentation is great, and there is a variety of colors.
Colourpop Liquid Matte $6
I have raved about these on my blog for such a long time! These are not sold in drug stores, but in November this brand will be sold in Sephora! Although it is not drug store, it’s really affordable and the formula is amazing. It is long lasting and has a lot of pigment.
I haven’t found any other drug store lip products lately that I love. If you have any suggestions, please comment below! Thanks for reading!
