Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream

Bare Minerals is one of my favorite prestige make-up brands and I’ve never been disappointed with their products. One aspect of the brand that I love is there is no animal testing on their products. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, I’m sure you know that I try to stray away from make-up that tests on animals (Revlon, Maybelline, Loreal).

The tinted hydrating gel cream is one of my favorite products by Bare Minerals. A friend of mine was wearing this product and I thought her skin looked perfect. When I bought it myself, I was so pleased with the results. My skin looked healthy, smooth, radiant, and hydrated, without the cakey foundation appearance. The product has the perfect amount of color in it, making it a great product to wear as a moisturizer that adds color to your face along with covering redness. I feel no need to wear foundation with this product, as it has enough coverage for my complexion.

Please keep in mind that the product is meant to give a dewy look, rather than a matte finish. It is sheer coverage, so if you are looking for full coverage, this is not the right product for you! There are 16 shades, which is great because every person can find their perfect tone. I am using desert, and I am very happy with the color turn out. Luckily, Complexion Rescue contains SPF 30, which is a must when wearing a face product.

The Bare Minerals website describes this product….

“2015 & 2016 Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner: Best Tinted Moisturizer

Redefine your foundation makeup experience with our heavenly hydrating gel cream that combines the best BB cream and CC cream benefits with powerful SPF 30 to reveal a dewy, radiant, smooth finish unlike any other tinted moisturizer. Now in 16 shades!”
